Length of 100 needles in Ljubljana

12 Apr. 2012. at Cankarjev dom

Josef Nadj: Length of 100 needles /Josef Nadj Regional Creative Atelier, Kanjiza, Serbia/

Josef Nadj is considered to be one of the most exciting contemporary dance artists in Europe.
The dancers performing his production Length of 100 Needles interact closely with a jazz ensemble, using, like action painters, their movements to create a sequence of tableaus in which everything is in a continual movement and change; objects, sounds, images, people and the whole world are constantly being re-invented.... An idiosyncratic and extremely telling physical expression, a unique stage magic that invests space with new dimensions, and objects with new form and content, the richness of a certain Central European tradition, the refined invoking of the magical and the ritual, the intensity of artistic quest…

Lady' soap

Buday Enikő and Kovács Kata

2011 august.  P.O.R.C.H. Ponderosa, Germany.

Premier was at 3rd of September 2011. at Schwelle7 in Berlin
Ponderosa, Stephanie Maher, Jess Curtis, Peter Pleyer, Eszter Gál, Michiel Keuper
The I've got bitten performance is two 30 years old Hungarian women's thought from the female sexuality, body, achieved social situation in the 21’s century Europe and women's political control and force in 2011 Hungary. The performance includes text montage from Karan Finley American performance artist's Different kind of intimacy book and Adamis Béla contemporary Hungarian poet's poem.

description via the life text and the song of the performance:
I AM FUCKING HUNGRY
Some women are asking for it. She is too big to fuck now. We can all fuck her at the same time.
I look into her eyes and I know her story and I said I was sorry for her and she said I got to keep trying and she asked why i was there too.
I M FUCKING HUNGARY

when I said NO you didn't listen to me
when I said NO you fuck me anyway
when I said NO i meant NO

text montage from Karen Finley - Different kind of intimacy

Bitten Song:
I've got bitten by an apple today. I envolve it in my pink lounge. My little sunshine is hungry today. I was watching the milk curdling. Apple in the cool still room. water mill my smaller breast, guarding my heart inside. 'Cause the little red bulldozers have started off.
lyrics by Béla bácsi

Kovács Kata from herself  : I just finished Budapest Tánciskola (Budapest Dance School) when I realized that I'm interested in a bunch of other things besides dancing. But everything is in interaction and connected, so now I'm balancing round myself with these territories... The hidden, hiding progress that brought me to be a dancer started during high school, but I only became fully committed in the beginning of my twenties. I studied competitive dance and show dance back in Kecskemét, and when I was in Budapest taking Spanish major, I accidantely ran into a Budapest Tánciskola (Budapest Dance University) flier, and I realized that this is what I really wanted. I graduated in 2007 . Since than I have been working as a free-lance dancer and contact improvisation teacher. Recently I am living in Berlin.

Samuel Beckett: A megnevezhetetlen / L'Innommable

S. Beckett: A megnevezhetetlen, részlet
